La Lupa Italian Cultural Arts Festival, created to celebrate Italian culture and art in a contemporary context, is seeking submissions
THEATRE: TEATRO PROGRAMME (La Lupa Teatro)
La Lupa Teatro is seeking one-acts, one-person shows, or ten-minute plays from playwrights of Italian or Italian-American heritage to be performed in our Teatro Programme. Playwrights whose work(s) are chosen will be given a director, casting session, and the play will receive two performances during the festival.
Please include the following:
Submission(s) must be no more than ten minutes in length.
Submission(s), please include playwright’s bio.
Italian or Italian-American themes are encouraged, but not required.

CHILDREN: BAMBINI TEATRO PROGRAMME (La Lupa Bambini Teatro
La Lupa Bambini Teatro is seeking Children’s Theatre Companies to perform Italian or Italian-American themed plays, one-acts, or musicals for our young audiences in our Bambini Teatro Programme. The Children’s Theatre Companies chosen to perform will be given two performances during the festival.
Please include the following:
Submission(s) must be fully produced and no more than forty minutes in length.
Submission(s) must include a show proposal/production resume and company bio.

DANCE: DANZA PROGRAMME (La Lupa Danza)
La Lupa Danza is seeking dance companies or dancers of Italian or Italian-American heritage to perform in our Danza Programme. Dancer(s) whose work(s) are chosen will receive two performances during the festival.
Please include the following:
Dance pieces must be fully produced and no more than ten minutes in length.
Italian or Italian-American themes, music, and/or dances are encouraged, but not required.

CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS: BAMBINI GIOCHI PROGRAMME (La Lupa Bambini Giochi)
La Lupa Bambini Giochi is seeking Children’s Workshops with Italian or Italian-American themes for our Bambini Giochi Programme for our young audiences. Children’s Workshops whose work(s) are chosen will be given two, thirty-minute time slots during the Bambini Giochi Programme.
Please include the following:
Workshops must be fully produced, educational, and interactive.
Workshops should be no more than thirty minutes in length, and should require little to no set-up time.
Workshops should be geared for children ages 3-10.

POETRY: POESIA PROGRAMME (La Lupa Poesia)
La Lupa Poesia is seeking poets of Italian or Italian-American heritage to recite their work in our Poesia Programme. Poets whose work(s) are chosen will be given a time slot (equal or no greater than ten-minutes in length) during the festival.
Please include the following:
Submissions should be no more than ten minutes in length.
Submit a bio.
Italian or Italian-American themes are encouraged, but not required.

ART: ARTE PROGRAMME (La Lupa Arte)
La Lupa Arte is seeking photographers and fine artists of Italian or Italian-American heritage who would like to exhibit their artwork in our Arte Programme. Artists whose work(s) are chosen will be exhibited in the La Lupa Loggia (gallery) space during the festival.
Please include the following:
A minimum of five images (JPG) of recent work, accompanied by titles, dimensions and medium.
An artist biography, listing previous/current exhibitions, representation, significant sales (with prices) and education, etc.

La Lupa Cinema is seeking short films from filmmakers of Italian or Italian-American heritage to be screened as part of our Cinema Programme. Filmmakers whose work(s) are chosen will be given two screening times during the festival.

Film(s) completed after January 1, 2008.
A short film less than ten minutes in duration in DVD format.
Press kit is requested, but not required.
Italian or Italian-American themes are encouraged, but not required.
